My favourite Bristol peoples Crazylegs (myspace) have come with a new look for 2010, joining forces with like minded promoters Donuts, UFO, Pollen, Focus and Work to channel their efforts. This month (March 26) they showcase one of the UK’s most exciting labels, Soul Motive, at the The Croft. Their music policy, the picture sleeves, it’s all right. Cosmin TRG, Geiom, Julio Bashmore and more provide the soundtrack for what will doubtless be another great night. Get your info.
The Starkbot’s (myspace) sophomore album on Planet Mu is due April 19. The second single to be taken from the album, ‘Stars’ featuring Anneka, is out tomorrow (order it from the new look Mu store). NME Radar this week feature a super mix from the man as well as this very special remix of ‘Stars’ by one of my favourite producers Slugabed (myspace).
C.R.S.T (myspace) are Chesus, Rodski, Stroud and Tony Blitz of South Wales. Their first EP as C.R.S.T come courtesy of the Bigger Than Barry crew (buy it here) and is right on point. Watch out for more from this lot in the near future with releases on On The Brink and No Hats No Hoods.

The first two releases on Wedge’s (myspace) If Symptoms Persist imprint have been right on point, highlights being Guido’s amazing ‘Running Away’ remix and the minimal stylings of Gatekeeper’s ‘Blip’. ISP003 once again showcases Bristol’s finest in the form of Wedge & Aesoteric. ‘Detached Reality’ and ‘A Night On The Wonk’ see the pair explore two wonderfully haunting soundscapes whilst the Gemmy (myspace) remix on the AA is executed with devastating effect as he turns the original on his head.
