With the excellent ‘Ukraine’ (produced under his Skinnz moniker) featured on Fabric’s ‘Elevator Music’ compilation and his label Build (myspace) set to release possibly the most sought after dubplate this year, 2010 is Baobinga’s time.

Two years since he and L-Vis 1990 launched Night Slugs (myspace), 2010 sees the much anticipated launch of their label. With releases from Mosca, Egyptrixx, Kingdom, Jam City, Greena, Girl Unit, L-Vis and the man himself, Bok Bok is leading the way.

George FitzGerald (myspace)

A relative unknown, George FitzGerald is making all the right noises with ‘Don’t You?’, scheduled for release on Joy Orbison’s Doldrums label.

The Count & Sinden - Strange Things (Melé Remix)

Hailing from Liverpool, 17 year old Melé’s productions are right on point. His Mixpak release is the one, ‘Flexi’ displaying talent that belies his age.

Dubstep’s ‘bright young thing’ Numan is an exciting prospect. Channeling Grime, even Jazz, his productions comprise the innocence that you might expect from an 18 year old whilst at the same time creating an addictive tension.

Starkey will undoubtedly light up the world this year. With his second album ‘Ear Drums And Black Holes’ due April 19 on Planet Mu the Seclusiasis label head is rumored to be working on a number of very special projects. Watch this space.

Untold – Electronic Explorations (MediaFire)

His ‘Gonna Work Out Fine’ EP was released to critical acclaim and few could have avoided the anti-anthem ‘Anaconda’ in 2009. The producer that everyone is watching continues to push things forward as we enter a new decade.
