SCHLACHTHOFBRONX!
Hailing from Munich, and apparently formed at an impromptu gathering at a Lidl car-park, Schlachthofbronx (myspace) have created a ridiculously fun hybrid of Kuduro, Baltimore, Miami Bass, Dubstep, Chiptune that is aimed directly at the dancefloor. Their one and only stated aim is ‘Ghetto-Bass In Ya Face!’. Good times. They now run a regular club night at Rote Sonne, ‘the club with the most massive and bassy soundsystem in town’ they tell me, called HypieHypie. Guests have included Radioclit, Sweat.X, DJ Manaia and they’re playing host to Boy 8-Bit next week, sounds like fun. The ’We Run This’ EP is set for release on On The Brink Recordings (myspace) early next year – you can check the crazy ‘Buss It’ on the player.
